Description

This Madonna & Child is inspired by a Byzantine original.  It is 4″ x 5″,  hand drawn and hand-painted on glass then leaded and set into a wooden base.  Each colour is hand-blended, and the way the metallic hues catch the light is amazing to see. It is both a work of art, and a religious piece.
